Kolys parents suppose  they have made a costly married person for their missy and they struggle to come up with the demanded destiny in time for the wedding. However, the day before the wedding, Kolys parents discover that t he bridegrooms parents lied to them well-nigh the get along and furbish upth of Kolys maintain to be. It is too late to do anything about it now, so Kolys parents agree to go on with the wedding.After the ceremony is over, Koly learns that her husband has tuberculosis and that his parents had him marry so that the dowry would pay for his medical examination care and a depend on to the Ganges River.
